Come Raggiungere Alberobello da Brindisi

Discovering Puglia is a truly exciting and unforgettable experience, but there are places that you absolutely must visit, one of these is Alberobello, the capital of the trulli. Reaching Alberobello by car is easy, but if you come from the south or from nearby places, the most effective solution is to use the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway. The closest junction to Alberobello is Gioia del Colle, about 30 km away from the trulli village. If instead you leave from the Tyrrhenian coast you can take the A14 at Canosa via the A16 Naples-Bari or the A1. Once you reach your destination there are various areas designated for parking, right near the trulli. Parking rates are 2 euros per hour from 09.00 to 22.00 at the blue lines or, in the larger car parks, you can spend a daily rate of 6 euros.

Brindisi – Alberobello by train

This is certainly the cheapest solution, using the train you will only spend from 5 to 17 euros, but it will take you 4 hours and 17 minutes (if on time) to get from Brindisi to Alberobello, among other things, there is no train that goes directly to Alberobello.

Brindisi – Alberobello by Taxi

The quickest but not exactly cheap solution to reach Alberobello from Brindisi is the taxi which costs €130 – €160 and takes 54 minutes.

REACH ALBEROBELLO FROM BARI

If you are by car, the best solution is to take the SS100 to Casamassima and then take the SS172, after passing Turi and Rutigliano you will reach Alberobello. This distance is approximately 55 km, basically three quarters of an hour by car.

If, however, you prefer to travel by public transport, you can rely on the trains of the South Eastern Railways. This service is provided by replacement buses that leave from Bari Largo Sorrentino, i.e. behind Bari central station. The journey takes about an hour or so.

REACH ALBEROBELLO FROM OSTUNI

If you are staying in Ostuni, you will certainly want to visit Alberobello too and I must say that reaching it will not be that complicated, because these two beautiful villages are really very close, about 30 km.

In 40 minutes by car you will reach Alberobello, passing through Cisternino (taking the SP17), then Locorotondo (SP11/SP134) until reaching the destination from the SP172. If you don’t have a car and want to use public transport, then the Ferrovie dello Stato company remains the reference for this route too. I recommend that you consult their website and click on Ostuni bus and not on Ostuni.

HOW TO REACH ALBEROBELLO FROM NAPLES.

If you are from Naples and want to reach Alberobello, you can do so easily by car along the A16 motorway, up to Canosa, after which you will take the A14 exiting at Gioia del Colle which is the closest junction to Alberobello. If, however, you want to use public transport, know that only Flixbus and MarinoBus provide the connection, with trips coming from Rome. Travel time is approximately 4 hours. I don’t recommend using the train, since the journey takes about 7 hours and, in most cases, there are at least two changes to make, sometimes even 4!

HOW TO REACH ALBEROBELLO FROM ROME

In addition to your car, take the A1 to Caianello, then SS372, until you reach the A16 dei Due Mari, after which follow the directions already given from Naples. Obviously, as previously announced, you can also reach the desired destination by using the FlixBus and MarinoBus buses. The train is another possible solution, but you will have to change in Bari and take an Intercity, there are several in various time slots. Furthermore, the plane is also an excellent solution, you can land in Bari and Brindisi and there are many connections, also thanks to the numerous low cost airlines.

HOW TO REACH ALBEROBELLO FROM MILAN

therefore, despite the distance there are numerous options to reach this destination sought after by visitors from all over the world.

The first one I’ll show you is, as always, the one that involves the car, sure, we’re talking about about 1000 km and 9 hours of travel, but if you prefer this means of transport, who am I to forbid you? ? Therefore, the easiest route is to reach Bologna via the Autostrada del Sole, and then continue on the A14, up to the Gioia del Colle junction which is about 30 km from Alberobello. I don’t advise you to venture by bus or train, because the journey would become too cumbersome, but know that the reference point of arrival by train is Bari, while by bus Gioia del Colle and MarinoBus have several connections every day. Instead, I recommend the plane. You will land in Brindisi or Bari and you will have various options, already mentioned before, to reach Alberobello.

In short, all roads lead to Alberobello, in some cases it is easier, in others a little less, but it is absolutely worth visiting this enchanted place which I will tell you about in more detail here
